We stayed at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon.
It was just before Xmas.
Downtown Ho Chi Minh City from the great view from the rooftop pool.
The main mode of transport is scooter or motorcyle. Just before we arrived wearing helmets became law.
The Opera House.
Peoples Committee Building.
Reunification Palace.
The first tank to storm the gates at the Fall of Saigon.
Notre Dame Catherdral of Saigon.
River tour on the Cai Be Princess boat.
The floating markets.
Some of the houses were quite ramshackle.
Kimi picking local fruit.
Kimi squeezing down a Ch Chi tunnel.
Not to be out done!
The tunnels were really small where the Vietcong hid out and ambushed the Americans.
We were one of the few tourists how crawled through the tunnels. An experience.
Firing off a few rounds of an AK47. I don't think I hit anything.
American tank at the War Museum where the American War Crimes were documented. The Museum was a little one sided but reading about the horrors of Napalm and Agent Orange make you think.
Bombs, including cluster bombs, dropped by the Imperialist Americans.
And the man traps laid by the murderous Viertcong.
